Language learners left the USA on May 31 to embark upon a 3 week stay in France in which they lived with a family in a suburb outside of Paris. Students attended French High School with their host-sister or host-brother. What a wonderful way to learn the language- full immersion! After a stay with host families, students enjoyed 6 days in the beautiful city of Nice in the French Riviera. They had so many daily opportunities to use their language skills! After our stay in Nice, we will return to Paris for an extra 2 nights in the city of lights. As in any group travel experience, we had our favorite and not so favorite moments. We had to work with some pretty severe rain and flooding in Paris and an influx of supporteurs, soccer fans, from all over the world! There was never a dull moment!
